FINAL EXAM
Find the track to use for your Garageband project in the class dropbox folder. It is called "Sing good rough_THIS IS EXAM TRACK." Be sure to use this track, and, as always, make certain there is no bleed. When you are finished, mute the instrumental track and play back your vocal to check that the only thing you hear is your voice. Also, make sure that your recording level is good. Not too high (distorted) and not too low (barely audible).
To adjust your recording level, either stand closer or farther from the mic, or use your smart controls (top left of Garageband interface) and adjust recording level until you get a good waveform.
Smart controls button - top left of GB interface...it will bring up Recording Settings. Select the track to engage it, and adjust recording level as desired. I don't recommend automatic level control. This almost never gives a desired level. Your your eyes to judge the waveform and your ears to listen to see if the volume is good.

I don't have to tell you how pristine I expect it to be. It should be performance ready with intonation, style, energy, diction, dynamics, etc. Go beyond whatever you think is expected and DELIVER!
