For Your Theory Exam, KNOW:

Intervals - half-steps, whole steps, octaves
Note names - A-G, sharps, flats, enharmonic
scales - pattern of intervals - diatonic WWHWWWH
Be able to write a major scale in any key using the formula above (WWHWWWH)
Be able to identify major intervals and minor intervals
Be able to identify sharp key signatures (take last sharp in the key signature and go up 1/2 step for key name)
Be able to identify flat key signatures (take the next to last flat in the key signature for key name)
Know basic musical terminology and smybols

For the Sightreading Exam, PREPARE to sightread a level 3 excerpt from the SRF app.
